Mooseville University Teaching Philosophy
We believe there are three pillars to effectively teach Mass Communication classes.

-
Practical application is key.
-
Real-world simulation is preferred.
-
Creativity and passion are a must.
All our classes have a real-world, practical application foundation at their root. By using actual clients, products, services, and scenarios, students become better equipped to enter their careers work-ready.
Whether it's creating a crisis scenario for a live press conference, hosting a campus-wide arts festival, or requiring a musical performance with accompanying live DVD, every class has practical application woven into its fabric so that students can start building their skill set and beefing up their resume on day one.
We prefer a variety of examples to supplement lecture material. Information is current, and our hooves are on the pulse when it comes to trends and pop culture.
Advertising and PR don't exist in a vacuum, and we strive to incorporate all areas of Mass Communication into our classes to better enhance students' skill sets.
We put in more effort than our students do.
Our classes aren't easy, but the lectures are lively, animated, entertaining, and engaging.
Students might not understand the hands-on learning style at first but, by the end, most forget they're in an academic environment and dive headfirst into a learning experience.
